Murphy Furniture owns the copyright, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights in relation to all content created by us on this website, including text, design, and layout.

Product images and certain media may be provided by suppliers; ownership of these images remains with the original supplier. Murphy Furniture has permission to use these images on the Site for display, promotion, and informational purposes only.

Viewing, downloading, or printing site content created by Murphy Furniture is permitted for personal, non-commercial use only.

Fraud

By placing an order or creating a user account, you confirm that your information is true and correct and agree to abide by these T&C’s. Murphy Furniture reserves the right to cancel transactions or refuse future dealings if:

• False or misleading information is provided;
• The T&C’s have been violated;
• Other misuse is identified at Murphy Furniture’s sole discretion.

Orders may be cancelled up to dispatch; refunds will be issued where applicable. Use of the Site is at your own risk; we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Virus-related liabilities are also disclaimed.

Payments

By purchasing on our Site, you confirm that all payment information is accurate and that charges will be honored, including taxes and fees.

Mattress Returns

Mattresses must be returned in original, unopened, and unused packaging. Returns are not accepted for hygiene reasons unless faulty.

Mattress Delivery & Recycling

• Delivered to ground floor only (hallway preferred, subject to driver discretion).
• Recycling available in Dublin, Wicklow, Kildare, Laois, Carlow, Wexford, and Kilkenny.
• Outside these counties? Contact customercare@murphyfurniture.ie.
• Mattresses for recycling must be ready, stripped, and on the ground floor.
• Items must be in reasonable condition.

Sofa Delivery & Assembly

• Ensure your property has adequate access for sofa delivery.
• Assembly service available in Wicklow, Dublin, Wexford, Laois, Kilkenny, Carlow, and Kildare.
• Old sofas should be ready outside if being collected.
• Please clear space in advance.
• Sofas are heavy — assistance is appreciated.

Delivery & Recycling for Furniture

• Delivered to front door/hallway only; no assembly or upstairs delivery.
• Recycling available in Wicklow, Dublin, Wexford, Laois, Kildare, Kilkenny, and Carlow.
• Only like-for-like items accepted; items must be disassembled and ready at the front door.
• We are not a waste removal company.

Order Contract and Murphy Furniture Order Reference Code

After placing an order, you will receive:

• A unique Murphy Furniture Order Reference Code for your purchase.
• An “Order Acknowledgement” email confirming receipt of your order, including your Order Reference Code and order details.
• An “Order Confirmation” email, which marks the official start of the contract between you and Murphy Furniture.

If we need to cancel all or part of your order for any reason, you will be informed by email. Refunds or adjustments will be handled accordingly.

Pre-Assembled Goods

Pre-assembled goods are sold for display purposes. We recommend professional inspection, adjustments, and securely fixing furniture with moving parts to walls.

Cancellations

You can amend or cancel your order up until the time of dispatch. If already dispatched, products must be returned unopened and undamaged within 6 working days. Refunds are processed within 1–5 working days. Murphy Furniture is not liable for any costs arising from the refund.

Items Not in Stock

If a product is out of stock, Customer Care will contact you within 24 hours to recommend a similar product or issue a full refund within 1–5 working days.
