In-Store Terms & Conditions
By completing your purchase at Murphy Furniture, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time.
Product Condition & "Sold as Seen"
- Floor Models: Items sold directly from the shop floor (ex-display) are sold as seen. It is the customer's responsibility to inspect these items for cosmetic defects before purchase.
- Pre-Assembled Goods: For display items already assembled, or items requested to be assembled in store, we recommend customers have all fittings checked by a professional upon relocation to ensure safety and stability.
Payments & Fraud Prevention To protect against fraudulent transactions, all refunds will be issued strictly to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. This includes all gift cards or prepaid cards. No exceptions will be made.
Change of Mind Policy Please choose carefully, as we are not legally required to provide a refund if you simply change your mind or make a wrong selection. At our discretion, we may offer an exchange or a store credit note, provided the item is returned unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as when it left the store.
Custom & Pre-Orders Cancellations on special orders or customized items are subject to a 20% restocking fee. For hygiene reasons, mattresses cannot be returned once the packaging has been opened.
Collection & Liability
- Transfer of Risk: Liability for the goods passes to the customer the moment the items leave our premises. We are not liable for damage caused by third-party couriers or during DIY transit/assembly.
- Storage: Goods must be collected within 5 days of notification. After this period, a €10 per day storage fee applies.
- Goods cannot be collected on Sundays or Bank Holidays.
Data Protection Personal data is used strictly for order fulfilment. If you do not wish to be contacted for marketing purposes, please notify your sales representative at the point of sale.
