We offer delivery across the Republic of Ireland (mainland only).

You can also order online and collect for FREE from any of our stores: Tallaght, Carlow Town, Naas, Gorey, or Wexford Town.

Delivery Types

We offer two delivery services: via Murphy Furniture or an independent courier company.

1. Murphy Furniture Deliveries

Handled by our own delivery team — mainly for sofas, mattresses, and large furniture within these counties: Dublin, Wicklow, Kildare, Laois, Carlow, Wexford, and Kilkenny.

Important details:

Delivery is to the ground floor or hallway only.
We do not deliver upstairs or through narrow/stairwell spaces.
Recycling service is available only in the counties listed above.
Please ensure access routes are clear and large enough for your items.
If you are not home at the agreed delivery time, a redelivery fee may apply.
Deliveries occur Monday to Friday only.
If your home has narrow doors, stairs, or difficult access, please note this at checkout. Failure to disclose may result in delivery delays or extra charges.

Murphy Furniture Mattress Delivery & Recycling

Delivered to ground floor only (hallway preferred).
Recycling available in Dublin, Wicklow, Kildare, Laois, Carlow, Wexford, and Kilkenny counties only.
Outside these areas? Contact [email protected] to check availability.
Mattresses must be ready, unwrapped, and on the ground floor for collection.
Items must be in reasonable condition to qualify for recycling.

Murphy Furniture Sofa Delivery & Assembly

Ensure your property has adequate access for sofa delivery.
Sofa assembly service available in Wicklow, Dublin, Wexford, Laois, Kilkenny, Carlow, and Kildare counties only.
Have old sofas ready outside if they’re being collected.
Please clear space in advance.
Sofas are heavy — assistance on site is appreciated.

Murphy Furniture Delivery & Recycling

Delivered to front door or hallway only — no assembly or upstairs delivery.
Recycling and collection service offered in Wicklow, Dublin, Wexford, Laois, Kildare, Kilkenny, and Carlow counties only.
Only like-for-like items (e.g., bed for bed) are accepted.
Items must be disassembled and ready at the front door for collection.
We are not a waste removal company.

Courier Deliveries

Deliveries outside our local service areas are handled by independent courier companies.

Please note:

Courier services are managed directly by the courier.
Delivery methods, timeframes, and collection terms are set by the courier provider.
Customers should refer to the courier’s own delivery and return guidelines for full details.
Once dispatched, Murphy Furniture cannot alter courier schedules or instructions.

Returns Policy

We follow the cooling-off period under the Distance Selling Regulations.

If you change your mind after delivery:

Notify us within 30 days of receiving your order.
Return the item within 30 days after notifying us.
You are responsible for the return delivery cost.

Refund Conditions

Items must be returned unused, in ‘as new’ condition, and in original packaging with all parts and accessories.
Items that show signs of use, handling, or installation beyond what is reasonable may not be eligible for a full refund. Murphy Furniture retains discretion to determine refund eligibility and the value of any partial refund issued. All such decisions are final.
Mattresses cannot be returned once opened (unless faulty) for hygiene reasons.
Refunds are processed within 30 days of return.
A 20% restocking fee applies to cancelled orders.
The €39 delivery fee is non-refundable and will be deducted from the total refund, for all orders, both above and below €750.
Refunds will be issued strictly to the original payment method used at the time of purchase, including gift cards or prepaid cards. Where payment was made by gift card, refunds will be issued back to a gift card or store credit.
Murphy Furniture is not liable for any additional refund-related costs.
